I am 25 years old and I was born in Schwetzingen, Germany. During my studies in Medical Computer Science, I studied abroad at the University of Washington, Seattle, to write my bachelor's thesis. I love trying out new technologies and being surrounded by nature (not at the same time, though).
During my stay at the University of Washington, I developed a web application prototype to visualize smart home sensor data for older adults using the dygraphs.js framework.
As a student of Medical Computer Science, I focused on the management of hospital information systems. I was able to deepen my knowledge in this area by working as an ABAP developer for SAP's industry solution healthcare (IS-H).
In my current working student position, I am developing a web application for visualizing genomic data. Utilizing in-memory technology, I am involved in back-end and front-end development.
As much as I love trying out new technologies, usually deep into the night, I love being outdoorsy and active. After a backpacking trip through Alaska, my latest adventure was a 7 day biking trip from Sweden to Norway:
Master of Science in Medical Computer Science.
Bachelor of Science in Medical Computer Science. (overall grade 1.4)
Writing of my bachelor's thesis. Some of the results were presented to Microsoft Research: Watch.
German Abitur (overall grade 1.4)
I developed ABAP checking reports for customers to reduce maintenance effort and a support software to enable them to start implementing a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
Initial deployment, and further development of the website and member database.
I created management reports, helped preparing quarterly business reviews and supported the Continuous Improvement Process. Furthermore, I helped preparing and executing workshops and information events.
